Climate Neutral

The term climate neutral is used to describe activities, products and organizations not having a negative impact on our climate. This is possible either by prevention or compensation of CO2 emissions.

About the Climate Neutral Group B.V.

All projects of Climate Neutral Group comply with strict quality requirements. Each project reflects measurable benefits for both our climate and sustainable local development. In this way you can be sure that you truly contribute to tackling global warming.

All our forests are certified according to the FSC-label, which is supported by the World Wildlife Fund. This label guarantees sustainable forestry management and respectful interaction with local people.

The certification organization Societe Generale de Surveillance (SGS) verifies whether our projects meet with the agreed criteria. In addition SGS measures the amount of CO2 being stored by each project yearly. Each project becomes a certificate showing the amount of CO2 stored. Consequently this amount is being registered as CO2 credits at the Triodos Climate Clearing House (TCCH). The transaction of CO2 credits from Climate Neutral Group to our customers is taken care of by TCCH. In this way transparency and reliability is being guaranteed.
